An elevator repair training center opens in Vallejo
A brand new apprenticeship and training center for elevator contractors has officially opened in Vallejo.
It is located at 410 – 425 Nebraska Street. There will approximately 20 teachers and over 300 students at the site beginning this fall.
The training center will serve all of Northern California and Northern Nevada.
It will train contractors and elevator unit inspectors.
The site will have a national elevator industrial education program, and will be a recruitment center for continuing education of elevator contractors. It will also serve as a licensing center and a continuing educational site.
This training facility and apprenticeship will help to place local people in a program which could be highly lucrative; successful graduates could make $100,000+ annually to start.
This new educational training program is a great addition to Vallejo.
As you know, we have Touro University, Maritime University (a.k.a. State University of California at Vallejo), a division of Solano College, and even classes from Sonoma State University.
This new educational training center only adds to the robust educational/informational aspect of Vallejo. If you or anyone you might know is interested in becoming an apprentice as an elevator contractor, now is the time to apply.
The apprenticeship training center representatives encourage recent local high school graduates to apply, and anyone in the community who might be interested in a valuable and lucrative career.
