Last week WSSC Water celebrated the opening of the Piscataway Bioenergy Facility. This state of the art facility will convert ALL, that right, ALL, of our wastewater and solid waste material into Class A biosolids. The results will aid our One Water Vision by reducing our dependence on others to treat the raw materials while producing renewable natural gas that will fuel Montgomery County, MD’s Ride On buses. Congrats to Powell and all of Team H2O for bringing this facility online, on time, and on budget!

Working this week on behalf of WSSC Water. We have a great story to tell. 106 years without any water quality issues, moving ahead with our bio-energy facility, and meeting customers needs with metering enhancements that will help customers recognize when leaks exist so they can be recognized and repaired more quickly.
