Woonsocket… I’ve got bad news for you… our building & code department STINKS! That means Battle Three will be our TOUGHEST and SMELLIEST yet but the good news is we have strength in numbers… here’s why:
For too long, Woonsocket has pushed away the very people willing to invest in our city.
When landlords, contractors, and small business owners feel punished instead of partnered with, development slows, storefronts stay vacant, and neighborhoods suffer. We are now seeing the consequences firsthand: declining investment, empty mixed-use buildings, commercial vacancies, and residents losing confidence in City Hall.
The petition calling for accountability in the Building Department reflects a growing frustration across Woonsocket. People are tired of a system that feels anti-business, anti-growth, and disconnected from the realities property owners and working families face every day.
My vision is different.
I want to reactivate our vacant first-floor storefronts and mixed-use properties — not let them sit dark and abandoned. Through my Community Police Outpost initiative, we can restore visible neighborhood police presence, improve public safety, support local businesses, and bring life back to struggling corridors throughout the city.
Safer streets. Occupied storefronts. Stronger neighborhoods.
That’s what STRONGER LEADERSHIP looks like.
Real change. Real results.
