This past week I got a call from a past client and it had NOTHING to do with her house. She got a promotion at work and was simply calling to give me an exciting life update!

About 2 years ago, we first met when she was looking to buy a home here. We instantly connected because we both had a background in education. I was a teacher for 11 years before becoming a realtor and she was a teacher here in Huntsville.

She called me this past week to tell me she's now the Assistant Principal!

It was a joy to help her find a home 2 years ago, but moments like this when a past client calls just to give you a life update? That means everything.

For my family (and most families here in Hampton Cove), Tortora's is a weekly tradition. This might be the best Italian restaurant in all of Huntsville, if I’m being honest. And if you’ve been, it’s no surprise that this place is packed with “regulars.”

Not to be dramatic, but the food is consistently incredible. Classic Italian dishes, from perfectly cooked pastas to pizzas, are a hit every time.

If the food wasn’t enough, the atmosphere really sets this place apart. All those regulars are greeted by name. There’s something to be said in this crazy, fast-paced world when a place remembers your name. And the whole staff is genuinely warm and welcoming.

It’s the kind of spot you can count on for a casual dinner, a family night out, or a place to unwind and catch up with friends.

No fuss, no pretense. Just really good food, great service, and a community feel that’s hard to find.

Here are 7 homes that every BUYER in the Huntsville area should be paying attention to! All these homes are great buying opportunities and have motivated sellers 👇

1) 224 Briarcrest. HUGEEEEEE lot and seller is willing to do a flooring allowance so you can pick your floors! 🎉

2) 103 Tanner Drake. Quiet street, I love the layout - VERY functional. Also it's quiet and peaceful out there on a cul-de-sac.

3) 209 Allegro. This one’s close to everything! 5 mins from Target and all Madison shopping. Also has a huge bonus room and tons of space.

4) 339 Mistfield. This neighborhood truly has it ALL! Pool, pickleball, Wiffle ball, dog park, playground, and this home is on a cul-de-sac and private lot with no backyard neighbors.

If I’m being honest, I was NOT loving the idea of a cruise at first. The thought of being out in the middle of the ocean with no escape (add in the potential for motion sickness 😅) had me seriously questioning my decision.

But
 I did it anyway.

And now? I’m officially hooked.

From the moment we stepped onboard, I was SOLD. The ship felt more like a floating resort than a boat! It was spacious, beautiful, and surprisingly stable. And as someone who was genuinely worried about motion sickness, I can confidently say the movement was nowhere near as bad as I expected (honestly, most of the time I didn’t even notice it).

What I didn’t expect was how easy everything felt.

No constant packing and unpacking. No stressing over where to eat or what to do next. It’s all right there! Incredible food, endless views of the ocean, entertainment, relaxation
 all wrapped into one experience.

Honestly one of the easiest vacations I’ve ever taken.

And the views? Absolutely unreal. Waking up to the water and watching the sunset from the deck is a different kind of peacefulness that you just don’t get anywhere else.

Safe to say, I went from skeptical to already thinking about booking the next cruise before the first one even ended. 😂

If you’ve been on the fence like I was? Consider this your sign!

Just book it.
