During the course of your personal injury case, you may encounter some unfamiliar legal terms. Understanding these terms can be daunting but beneficial to knowing your rights and comprehending common procedures within your case. One beneficial term to know: Discovery. What is it and how does it work?
Discovery is the investigation that takes place before a lawsuit goes to trial. During this period, parties gather facts and information about the other party to build their case.
Discovery can be written, in the form or interrogatories or request for production, or oral, which is typically in the form of a deposition.

Perhaps you drove past it. It's worth a stop and taking a walk along the front lawn of Clover Park High School's (CPHS) Arlington Project.
Each year, CPHS marks Memorial Day with an unforgettable sea of remembrance that illustrates the sacrifice the men and women of our armed forces make to keep our country safe.
CPHS students place individually-named markers for the nearly 7,000 fallen soldiers from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan beginning Monday, May 20, and it will remain on display through Memorial Day.
Visit if you can. Bring your kids or your grands. It's a perfect teaching moment as to why this three-day weekend isn't all about BBQs and camping trips.

A car accident is always a chaos-inducing event in anybody’s life – and your immediate concern is making sure that you get the appropriate medical care for your injuries. 🏥
Only once you’re medically stable may you turn your attention to the practical concerns, including how you’re going to pay for your medical care and recover fair compensation for your missing wages and other losses.
So, how long do you have to file a personal injury claim after a car wreck?🚗
⭐️The statute of limitations for a car accident in Washington is 3 years. But you shouldn’t wait that long! Evidence can be lost, witness memories can fade and the insurance companies may be extra resistant after three years.
Contact me today for a free case consultation! Let’s get you on the path to recovery.

Did you know that April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month? 🚙 Distracted driving has become a deadly epidemic on our roads and an all too common factor in cases I see. Cell phone usage, adjusting music and GPS, applying makeup, and eating while driving are just a few of the most common forms of distracted driving. 📱💄🍔
By driving distracted, you are robbing yourself of potentially precious seconds that you may need to avoid an accident. Above are just a few ways we can help curb distracted driving.
Throughout the month of April, we may see increased law enforcement on the roadways as part of a national campaign: Put the Phone Away or Pay. 🚨 This campaign reminds drivers for the deadly dangers and legal consequences of driving distracted. WA state, must all take action to keep ourselves and others safe!
