Lloyd is actively involved on with the New Jersey Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and was the Chapter Chair for 2011-2012 and a board member for several years before that. He frequently attends meetings with the

USCIC District Director and her staff at the Newark District office along with the Field Office Director and his staff of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Newark Field Office. For the past several years he has taken the fight for comprehensive immigration reform to Washington, D.C. where he lobbied for change on behalf of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and met with the House Members from New Jersey including Senator Menendez, and Congressman Sires. Lloyd was recognized by his peers and included in the list of Super Lawyers in 2008-2014 for his work as an immigration lawyer in New Jersey. He was also included in the Best Lawyers list since 2013. Lloyd is a 1987 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, N.J. He also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College in 1984. He is the third generation attorney practicing law in New Jersey. His grandfather and father were well respected attorneys in the community they served in NJ. Lloyd is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and in Immigration Courts through the United States and is an active member of:

We’re excited to welcome Alexander Mena, Esq. to our firm as a new Associate Attorney!

A graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, Alex brings a strong background in immigration law, with experience handling adjustment of status applications, removal defense, and a wide range of immigration petitions. Prior to joining us, he worked with a well-known non-profit organization, where he passionately advocated for immigrant communities.

Coming from a family of immigrants himself, Alex’s commitment to public service runs deep. He began his legal career representing survivors of domestic violence in family court proceedings and has since successfully helped clients secure humanitarian relief—including release on bond, protection under the Convention Against Torture, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for unaccompanied minors.

He has also guided many families through the process of adjusting their status before USCIS.
