Your pack leader will choose a dog who is a good match for your age, dog-handling experience, etc. The Pack Walk is a great way for our dogs to get out for exercise and socialization. It's great for two-leggeds too! SAVE THE DATE--KIDS, DOGS & BOOKS! Join us at the Ukiah Branch Library on Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. for a chance to meet some adoptable dogs from the Ukiah Animal Shelter! We’ll meet in the children’s room for doggie cuddles, information sessions with shelter volunteers and staff, and the opportunity to meet your new best friend! This event is open to all ages and is sponsored by the Ukiah Animal Shelter and the Mendocino County Library. 🚨 Kitten Foster Homes Needed ASAP 🚨

Kitten season is here, and we are in urgent need of foster homes for kittens coming through our doors. We currently have:

🐾 Moms with nursing kittens who need a safe, quiet space to raise their babies
🐾 Kittens in need of socialization to help them grow into confident, adoptable pets
🐾 Bottle babies and other young kittens who may arrive at any time and need immediate placement

Fostering truly saves lives by opening up shelter space and giving these vulnerable kittens the care they need to thrive. Supplies, support, and guidance can be provided.

If you have room in your home and are able to help, please consider becoming a foster. The need is immediate, and every foster home makes a difference.
