DUI Checkpoint planned for City of Canyon Lake

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Lake Elsinore Station will be conducting a Driving Under the Influence and Driver’s License Checkpoint on Friday, March 22, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. at an undisclosed location within the City of Canyon Lake. Checkpoint locations are chosen based on a history of DUI crashes and arrests.

In addition to the upcoming checkpoint, three saturation are planned between now and September 30, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Only DUI Checkpoints are posted in advance. Advance notice is not required for saturation patrols.
