We ended this week by honoring our 2026 Pillars of the Bar for their contribution to the legal profession and our community! Congratulations to Tommy Jones, Nettie Blume, Jim Guin, Sandy Gunter and Dena Prince ⚖️ Alabama State Bar

We also want to thank Kayla Griffin for her service as President this year, and Jeff Smith (not pictured) for his years of dedicated service as an executive committee member. We look forward to another great year with our newly elected Executive Leadership:

Join local attorneys, judges, public officials, and community members as we reflect on the words that helped shape our nation and the freedoms we enjoy today:

This tradition has been observed in Tuscaloosa County since 2012 and serves as a meaningful reminder of the principles behind our Fourth of July celebrations.

The event is free and open to the public.We hope you'll join us as we honor our nation's history and celebrate 250 years of the American spirit.

Assistant District Attorney Corey Seale has been appointed by Gov. Kay Ivey to fill the Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court judge seat previously occupied by Judge Brad Almond.
