Ken had the pleasure of welcoming Mike Tate and Nadia Tellis to the club.

Mike brings decades of Rotary leadership and nonprofit service, while Nadia brings a passion for community engagement and connecting people through her work with Spire.

Yesterday started with honoring Birmingham’s history and ended by investing in its future.

Ken began the day with Birmingham Sunrise Rotary at the newly opened 16th Street Education & Visitor Center, a space created not only to preserve the history of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing and honor Addie Mae Collins, Denise McNair, Carole Robertson and Cynthia Wesley, but to carry those lessons forward through education, reflection and action.

He ended the day at Samford University’s Brock School of Business Real Estate RoundUp, where real estate professionals came together with students for an evening of conversation, mentorship and connection.
​
Two very different events. One common thread: building stronger communities.
​
