Courtney in our Education Law Unit, and Donna, who volunteers through our Private Attorney Involvement Program, worked to make sure that this family had the representation and advocacy they needed for the best outcome for their child!

Many thanks to 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐋. 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥, 𝐄𝐬𝐪. of Freidel & Kramer, P.C. who recently concluded a pro bono case through The SJLS Guardianship Project for Children. Donna helped the mother in this case obtain guardianship over her disabled child who has learning disabilities and bipolar disorder. The court issued a Judgment of Incapacity and now this mother can rest assured that she can make decisions going forward for her child. Thank you so much Donna for all your support!
