During the last campaign, some in MAGA spread a theory that Epstein had a “list”. More recently, Pam Bondi suggested there is a “list”. Suddenly, Trump fired the prosecutor who tried the Epstein case. Trump’s private attorney wants to talk to Gislaine Maxwell in prison. The President ordered the release of Grand Jury testimony he has no authority to release but he hasn’t ordered the release the investigative files he has the authority to release. Now he claims there’s nothing to see here. RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!

Over the years, I have received phone calls from injured workers who handled their case without an attorney until they received an offer to settle their case. The offer is usually based on the treating physicians assessment of disability. Here is what I tell them.

Q-tip 2: Let me review your case. If I think the offer is reasonable, I will tell you and you will owe me nothing. If I think it’s unreasonable then I will recommend that you have an attorney. You can choose to hire me or have someone else do it, but I will tell you the truth either way.

2024 was a record year for the Quandt law firm. We created new Oklahoma law and vigorously worked to obtain record settlements. I will continue to fight the good fight for the injured worker. I’m going to start posting occasional workers comp tips. They will be humorously referred to as Q-tips.

Q-tip 1: When you are hurt on the job, notify your supervisor immediately and request medical attention. Your employer will probably send you to an occupational health facility such as Concentra or Work Health Solutions. Most of my clients report receiving poor care from those facilities, however, the employer has the right to select the physician. You do have a right to request a change of Dr. This right can be used only once so it is important to use it strategically.

 the right, leaning United States supreme court has become the biggest example of judicial activism. Let’s just throw out all precedent. Including affirmative action, which helped Clarence Thomas get where he is.
