We’re proud to introduce the Pipestem Law team.
📸 Standing together at the May Comanche Nation candidate meet and greet hosted by the Indigenous Peoples' Day Planning Committee in Lawton.
From left to right:
✨ Wilson Pipestem (Otoe-Missouria, Osage) – Founding partner with decades of experience protecting Tribal sovereignty, advocating before Congress, and leading historic victories like the Osage Nation’s $380 million settlement and the 2013 Violence Against Women Act reauthorization.
✨ Shoney Blake (Choctaw) – Skilled litigator and advocate for Tribal governments, Tribal mineral rights, and Native women’s rights, with deep experience before Tribal, state, and federal courts — as well as a record of national leadership and community service.
✨ Joe Keene (Osage, Cherokee) – Litigator and legal strategist focused on Tribal sovereignty, gaming law, and water and natural resources with a strong track record in both courtrooms and Tribal code development.
✨ Andie Sweeden (Cherokee) – Attorney experienced in MMIP, governance, taxation, code drafting, and lobbying, with advanced degrees in Indigenous law and governance — and a passion for defending Native rights at every level.
✨ Not pictured: Jennifer Baker – With over a decade of practice in federal Indian law, Jennifer is a passionate advocate for Tribal sovereignty and resource protection. Her work includes litigation, governance, code drafting, environmental and economic development matters, and large, complex federal court cases. Jennifer brings unmatched experience, dedication, and a deep commitment to advancing social and environmental justice alongside Tribal nations.
We are honored to work alongside the Comanche Nation while representing the Comanche Nation Tax Commission, and we look forward to earning your trust to serve, protect, and advocate for Tribal sovereignty and self-determination as the Comanche Nation Tribal Attorney team.
