Robert Denton grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from Bishop Kelley High School he went on to attend the University of Oklahoma. Robert graduated with a bachelor of arts in Journalism and Public Relations. After taking a short break after college to teach ski school in Taos, New Mexico, Robert moved to Malibu, California and began law school at Pepperdine University School of Law. While at Pepperdine, Robert was hired as an intern at the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office. Upon graduating from law school, Robert joined the District Attorney’s office full time. During his more than half a decade as a Deputy District Attorney, Robert Denton worked in a variety of assignments, including Major Crimes/Gangs, Major Narcotics, Family and Domestic Crimes, Misdemeanors and DUI. The experience Robert Denton gained while prosecuting DUI cases has been incredibly helpful now that Robert Denton defends individuals accused of DUI. While Robert was a DA he became intimately familiar with the science behind the case. Robert personally participated in forensic alcohol studies (also known as wet-labs). Robert also participated in ride-alongs with DUI enforcement teams at the California Highway Patrol and participated in Sobriety Check Points. All of this experience is now beneficial for Robert’s Tulsa DUI clients.
