Phillip Hawkins received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Graceland College in Iowa and earned his Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Tulsa. Hawkins has over nine years of experience in the field of worker’s compensation law. Hawkins worked with a leading Tulsa law firm representing Respondents in worker’s compensation claims. He has spent the last six years representing injured Oklahomans in worker’s compensation claims at the trial and appellate levels. Hawkins is a past-president of the Oklahoma Bar Association Worker’s Compensation Section. He is also a board member of the Worker’s Compensation Section of the Tulsa County Bar Association as well as the Oklahoma Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker at seminars dealing with worker’s compensation issues and his views on legislation affecting the rights of injured workers have been released by several publications, including the Tulsa World and The Daily Oklahoman.
