**Free to do, saves you money on your taxes!

If you live in Rogers County they are now taking homestead applications over the phone! 918-923-4400. Press Option 1 for a list of offices. Press Option 1 again for the assessor's office. Let them know you would like to file your homestead over the phone. A few questions later and they will send you an email confirmation. Easy peasy! It'll save you about 80-90 bucks on your taxes each year. Once you file it once, you don't have to file it again for future years. In order to be eligible starting in 2023, you need to file no later than March 15th!

Any *Fully* accessible homes for rent in the area that accept a small dog?

Disabled man + caretaker looking desperately with no luck! The home he currently lives in is being sold.

What resources do I need to be aware of?

Needs to be able to roll in wheelchair through front door.

Needs a property manager that will call him back and not ghost him due to being disabled.

6:30PM Update - This young man has been safely taken into custody by a family member. Owasso Police will work with DHS regarding home arrangements and criminal investigation into this case. THANK YOU OWASSO for helping us locate the family of this child and get him into the custody of a safe responsible adult.

Owasso Police - Request for Public Assistance. Police need assistance in identifying this young man and locating a legal guardian. This young man was found in the parking lot area of Brookwood Apartments, near 1311 N Ash Place in Owasso. Police and neighbors have canvassed the immediate area but have been unable to locate a parent or guardian at this time. This young man suffers developmental issues making coherent communication extremely difficult. His name may be "Michael", he appears to be around 8 years old and some of his family may be from Florida. Owasso Police are working closely with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and this request for assistance was made at their behest. Any information would be greatly appreciated, anyone with information can call the nonemergency phone number of the Owasso Police at 918-272-2244, the press 0 for the dispatch center. Thank you
