I'm excited to announce that LWA will be starting it's Holiday Drive this Thursday, Nov. 20th, continuing until Thursday, Dec. 4th.
You can drop off donations any time in the boxes located in the lobby, but we will be tabling on the following dates from 11:30-1:00 in the law school lobby, so please stop by and say hi:
Thur., Nov. 20
Mon., Nov. 24
Tue., Dec. 2
Thur., Dec. 4
This year, we partnered with the Salvation Army and are helping two Tucson families in need (see their stories from Salvation Army below). You can stop by our table to sign-up to get specific gifts for the kids from their wish lists, or sign-up on the sheets that should be on a table near the boxes, but these families are in need almost everything!
Here are our families!

The Castro Family
Veronica and Juan have been pretty stable most of their life. A few months ago, Juan had an opportunity to go back to school full time while Veronica worked and supported everyone so Juan could further his education. Juan enrolled as a full time student and all of a sudden Veronica lost her job, really putting them behind in everything. They have come across a hump in their life that they are desperately trying to get over. They need some extra help for the holidays for the first time ever. They are a very nice family and very humble.
Special Family Needs (Optional)
Tupperware, containers, pots & pans, oven mitts
The Ross Family
This family had a house fire in March 2014. The entire family's home burned down to nothing. They lost everything they owned. They had to start over with everything and anything. They can use everything! The Dad also just lost his job. Mom is working full time and this is the only income they have. They are currently staying in a mobile home. Anything you can do would be wonderful!
