My journey as a real estate agent and mortgage officer was not planned.

There are three pieces of advice I'd give to anyone having trouble with their journey.

1. Stay True to Yourself:
What it means: Always be honest about who you are and what you believe in. Don't try to be someone you're not just to please others.
Why it's important: When you stay true to yourself, you'll find more happiness and peace because you're living authentically. This also attracts people and opportunities that align with your true self.

2. Embrace Challenges:
What it means: Don't shy away from difficulties or obstacles. See them as opportunities to grow and learn.
Why it's important: Challenges help you become stronger and wiser. Overcoming them brings you closer to your goals and helps you discover your true potential.

3. Keep Moving Forward:
What it means: No matter what happens, always take steps toward your goals, even if they're small.
Why it's important: Progress, no matter how slow, keeps you on your path. Staying persistent helps you achieve your dreams and live out your purpose.

1. Not Listening:

What it means: Sometimes people talk too much about themselves and forget to listen to others.
Why it's bad: If you don't listen, you won't learn what the other person is interested in or needs. They might think you only care about yourself.
What to do instead: Ask questions and listen carefully to the answers. This shows you care about what they have to say.

2. Not Following Up:

What it means: After meeting someone, some people forget to reach out and keep in touch.
Why it's bad: If you don't follow up, the person might forget about you, and you miss the chance to build a stronger connection.
What to do instead: Send a friendly message or email after meeting someone to say it was nice to meet them. This helps them remember you.

3. Being Unprepared:

What it means: Some people don't prepare before going to a networking event. They might not know what to talk about or who they want to meet.
Why it's bad: If you're unprepared, you might feel nervous and not make a good impression.
What to do instead: Think about what you want to say and who you want to meet before the event. This helps you feel more confident and ready to talk to people.
