Our Story

NatLaw works closely with representatives from the public and private sectors in Africa, the Americas, and Asia on legal reform, including drafting of statutory law and development of best business practices, together with capacity building in a number of substantive areas including, but not limited to the following: alternative dispute resolution, banking, bankruptcy, electronic commerce, investment securities, judicial reform and training, secured transactions law, and registries of security interests.

By working on the modernization and harmonization of commercial law across the world, NatLaw contributes to grassroots economic progress and inclusion, SME prosperity, and the fulfillment of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through better business laws and practices.

An understanding that better laws and regulatory practices directly improve livelihoods and reduce poverty, as well as strongly contribute to the achievement of SDGs 1, 2, 8, and 9, motivates our work.

NatLaw also strives to provide higher education opportunities for students from around the world through its affiliation with the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. Professors and attorneys associated with NatLaw are experts in their fields and provide Arizona Law students, international Master’s students, and PhD candidates with extraordinary training and research environments to attain their ultimate goals.
