Very interesting

It’s crazy how much an area can change over time.

The black-and-white photo is believed to have been taken sometime around the mid-1970s in Clay, showing Chalkville Mountain Road, Old Springville Road, and Sweeney Hollow Road.

Fast-forward about 50 years and it’s almost hard to believe it’s the same place.

Same intersection. Different world.

I love finding old photos like this and seeing just how much the places we drive through every day have changed.

HTHS also climbed to No. 679 nationally, placing the school among the top 5% of high schools in the nation and continuing to demonstrate the outstanding work taking place in our classrooms every day.
