🚨 TAX REFUND UPDATE 🚨

I know a lot of y’all are wondering why your IRS account didn’t update yet. Here’s what’s going on:

✔️ PATH Act Hold – The IRS can’t release refunds before February 17, 2025 due to the PATH Act.
✔️ Presidents’ Day (Feb 17th) – This is a federal holiday, so the IRS may not process updates that day.
✔️ When to Check for Updates – The IRS usually updates transcripts on Tuesdays & Saturdays, so check February 17-18 for changes.
✔️ Refunds Coming Soon! – After the PATH hold lifts, direct deposit dates should start showing next week (Feb 20-22 and beyond).

Attention taxpayers! This W-4 form filled out correctly is very IMPORTANT to ensure that you receive your maximum refund! You receive this form when you start a job. You can change this form throughout the year as your dependent situation changes. Changes such as a birth, death, marriage, any change that will affect the size of your household and who you directly take care of.

The IRS expects you to file the number of dependents you claim on this form when you file your return for each year. If the number you file on this form is less than what you file on your return, your refund will be affected. You will not receive your maximum income. If you have no dependents do NOT claim any on this form.
