🚨 SUMMER VACATION ALERT 🚨

While the officers of the Troy Police Department continue to report for duty, Therapy Dog Selina has apparently decided that summer vacation applies to her too.

We hope everyone is having a safe and enjoyable summer. Selina will continue her important work of boosting morale, collecting treats, and reminding us all that sometimes the best way to handle stress is a good nap in the air conditioning.

🚨 Community Reminder 🚨

With the full swing of summer approaching, the Troy Police Department would like to remind everyone to take a few simple steps to help prevent vehicle burglaries and thefts.

Please remember to:

✔️ Lock your vehicle doors, even when parked at home.
✔️ Remove valuables from plain sight, including wallets, purses, electronics, and fi****ms.
✔️ Take your keys and key fobs with you when exiting your vehicle.

Many vehicle thefts are crimes of opportunity and can be prevented by taking extra precautions. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement.

ETA 8:45 pm

Congratulations to the Triad High School track team on winning their first ever state championship! Please feel free to cheer them on as we es**rt them through town. The route will be Edwardsville Rd (near Dunkin), south on Main, and then east on US 40. ETA on their arrival is roughly 8pm. This post will be updated as they get closer to town.
