I look forward to this opportunity to learn, share, and spread awareness about elder abuse.

Lelia is honored to be moderating a panel discussion at the Virginia Governor’s Conference on Aging next week.
“Challenges and Opportunities in Addressing Elder Abuse During the Pandemic” will feature investigators and a long term care ombudsman explaining their roles and giving suggestions for professionals (and the general public) in how to prevent, detect, and report elder abuse. The pandemic has complicated many of these issues, and this panel discussion will help bring awareness and provide tips for addressing elder abuse. I look forward to learning, sharing, and spreading awareness.
