What Advice Would I Give To Other Women Considering Entrepreneurship:

1. Find a mentor or a group of people in your industry who can provide support and serve as a sounding board for your ideas. We all need someone who will give us honest feedback (even if we don’t want to hear it).

2. Hire someone with a different skillset than yours. Thankfully, I found our Business Manager, Alandra Buerger, who is a big picture thinker. She is always thinking of ways to move the law firm (and the legal industry) forward.

Sarah Worley likes to stay behind the scenes at Dungan & LeFevre-Attorneys. In 2024, Sarah became the sole owner of Dungan & LeFevre-Attorneys.

What do you hope to achieve as a female business leader?

I have a lot of goals for the firm, but I’ll keep my personal goal simple. I hope to leave the firm better than I found it, and that is my guiding principle (whether it’s offering more benefits to employees or improving software so that we are more efficient). If an idea or project doesn’t help us improve, then I’m not interested in pursuing it.
