It is time to share the bittersweet news that I am closing the office and starting a new chapter, as an attorney for the Florida Guardian ad Litem Office. The opportunity to advocate for children in foster care is one that I believe God sent for a reason. I will be finishing my last private cases throughout the rest of this year.

Thank you to all who have trusted us for your legal needs, and my office email will remain the same in case anyone needs copies or recommendations for other attorneys.

In order to best serve our clients, the remainder of 2025 will be spent working with existing clients only. Due to our current case load along with upcoming personal obligations for both McKenzie and Joy, there is insufficient time to dedicate to new matters. Thank you for your understanding!

Starting next week, our summer office hours will be Monday through Wednesday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. This will allow us to spend some time with our children while they are out of school. Have a wonderful and relaxing summer!

At the end of April our legal assistant McKenzie graduated with her Bachelor’s degree! She finished while working and raising a family. In August she will start the journey of law school.

What is estate planning?

Who needs estate planning?

Estate planning is not just for rich folks! Anyone with minor children, anyone who has or one day may have health issues, and anyone who owns any property at all, should plan ahead to minimize the stress on their family.

Now! Nobody plans to get sick, inured, or worse. “Any preparation is better than no preparation.”
