Most people think the hard part is finding a buyer.

Sometimes the hard part is everything left behind.

I recently worked with a home that had great features, strong interest, and motivated buyers. But personal property became the sticking point that almost derailed the entire transaction.

Furniture.
Boxes.
Keepsakes.
Items no one wanted to make a decision about.

What seems like “stuff” can quickly become an emotional and financial obstacle when it’s time to sell.

The lesson?
