I am admitted to the practice of law in the state of Maryland and my focus is in Immigration, Trademark, and Copyright Law.
As a native Spanish-speaker I am able to provide Immigration counseling to the Spanish community in their language. I started my career as an Immigration Attorney at Esperanza Center of Catholic Charities of Baltimore where I handled mostly
Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases. Throughout my practice, I have helped prepare many work permit petitions, as well as helped clients with Adjustment of Status (Green Card) Applications, Family Petitions, U Visa Applications, Naturalization, and other Immigration reliefs and benefits.
As a Student I completed a one-year Legal Aid Clinic at the University of Puerto Rico focus on Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property. There I was able to help clients with the registration of their Trademarks and Copyrights. I also drafted contracts for the transfer of Copyrights from one person to another, as well as work-for-hire contracts for films and music projects. I also provided counseling to clients on their Copyrights questions and on claiming their rights from people violating them.
From a background of Graphic Design, Video Productions, and Photography I understand the importance of protecting one's Copyrights from being violated. As the founder of my own Multi Media local company I also understand the importance of protecting one's Trademarks rights. As an attorney in this field now I will provide advice to not violate anyone's rights as well as to protect your own work from being violated.

Estoy admitido para ejercer la abogacía en el estado de Maryland y mi enfoque es en la Ley de Inmigración, Marcas Registradas y Derechos de Autor.
Siendo el español mi primer idioma, puedo brindar asesoramiento de inmigración a la comunidad hispana en su idioma. Comencé mi carrera como Abogada de Inmigración en Esperanza Center de Caridades Católicas de Baltimore, donde manejé mayormente casos de Estatus Especial de Inmigrante Juvenil. A lo largo de mi práctica, he ayudado a preparar muchas solicitudes de permisos de trabajo, así como he ayudado a clientes con solicitudes de ajuste de estatus (tarjeta verde), solicitudes familiares, solicitudes de visa U, naturalización y otros alivios y beneficios de inmigración.
Como estudiante completé una Clínica de Asistencia Legal de un año en la Universidad de Puerto Rico enfocada en Emprendimiento y Propiedad Intelectual. Allí pude ayudar a los clientes con el registro de sus Marcas y Derechos de Autor. También redacté contratos para la transferencia de derechos de autor de una persona a otra, así como contratos de trabajo por encargo para películas y proyectos musicales. También brindé asesoramiento a clientes sobre sus preguntas relacionadas a derechos de autor y sobre cómo reclamar sus derechos de personas que los violan.
Con experiencia en diseño gráfico, producciones de video y fotografía, entiendo la importancia de proteger los derechos de autor para que no sean violados. Como fundador de mi propia empresa local multimedia, también comprendo la importancia de proteger los derechos de marca registrada. Como abogado en este campo ahora brindaré consejos para no violar los derechos de nadie, así como para proteger su propio trabajo de ser violado.
