Here are 5 things I wish someone had told me before I started:

1️⃣ Consider house hacking your first property
2️⃣ Don’t wait for the “perfect” market—run the numbers on the deal in front of you
3️⃣ Don’t force yourself to buy a property every year just to hit a goal
4️⃣ Account for ALL your expenses, not just the mortgage
5️⃣ Take tenant screening seriously. The right tenant can make your life easier, and the wrong one can make you question why you became a landlord 😅

Real estate is a long-term game. You don’t need to get everything perfect—you just need to make smart decisions and buy properties that make sense financially.
