I heard it’s said “True Friends are like Stars-You don’t always see them but you know they’re there.” Just like Stars which are visible in Darkest of Night; True Friends also shows up in most Trying Times.”

Are your “friends” really true friends? Or are they just acquaintances because they’re there because they benefit from you closeness?

How can you tell if they are true friends?

I’m sure there is/are objective way/s to find out but for me, I consider real friends those that remember to reach out in good or bad times. But this sign post flies in the face of the saying “not always seeing them but they’re there”. So I modified this expectation and belief by me going out of my way to reach out to them or always being ready to help or serve them whenever they reach out to me.

But I’m not perfect, there are those that’s reached out to me that went away thinking that I’m not a real friend (or a nice person) but I’m growing. I pray that I would have Jesus’ humble and servants’ heart.

So If I haven’t reached out to you or you tried reaching out to me but went away offended by my lack of appreciation of your friendship, I apologize. I’m sorry if I offended you in any way. I’m not perfect and GOD IS NOT FINISHED WITH ME YET!

Happy Monday. You know Mondays are made for people who enjoy going back to work. If you are one of the millions that enjoy your job, Happy Monday. If you hate going to work it’s time to get a new perspective; imagine if you don’t have a job. What would you be doing to earn money for you and your family; ask for a handout from family or government? Besides you may not like your job but it is you, it is your identity, and your way of giving back and serving GOD. Remember you do not work for your boss or your company-you work for GOD.
Either you enjoy going to work on Mondays or not, just remember it could be worst; you could be lying in a prison cell, hospital bed or six feet under. So get up, dress up, and show up. Happy Monday everyone!
