Looking back on this great opportunity that our founder, Cynthia Grande, had at the 2026 Law School Admissions Conference, as a speaker connecting with future attorneys and sharing her journey as the daughter of Salvadoran immigrants, a first-generation professional, and the founder of The Grande Law Firm. ✨

We hope to encourage the next generation of legal professionals and remind students that there is space for their voices, their stories, and their leadership in the legal field.

A huge thank you to SOHIL at UC San Diego for the invitation and for creating a space where students can learn, connect, and be inspired by leaders across the legal profession. ⚖️💙

We can’t wait to see what these future attorneys accomplish.

🚨 Important USCIS Update 🚨

USCIS is reportedly denying some immigration forms due to the use of digital or electronic signatures — including signatures made through phones, scanned signatures, or holographic-style signatures. ⚠️

What’s important is that this could also affect documents that were already submitted, not just future applications.

If you think any forms in your case may have included digital signatures, it’s a good idea to speak with your attorney as soon as possible to understand whether this could impact your process.

We’ll continue sharing updates as more information becomes available. If you have questions about your case, our team is here to help. 🤝

🚨 BREAKING IMMIGRATION NEWS 🚨

USCIS recently released a new memo that could make it more difficult for some people to obtain their green card from inside the United States.

The memo highlights that adjusting status in the U.S. is considered a “privilege” and not the standard process, which could lead to more scrutiny and fewer approvals based on discretion. ⚠️

But this does NOT mean your case cannot be approved. It simply means it’s more important than ever to be careful, informed, and strategic when applying for your green card inside the U.S.

👉 Stay until the end of the video to understand what this could mean for your case and what steps you should take next.

🚨 Latest Immigration News 🚨

We’ve been hearing a lot of concerns and questions about reports that DMV information could be accessible through law enforcement systems and what that may mean for immigrants in California.

While this does NOT mean ICE is automatically using DMV records to deport people, it does raise important questions about privacy and how information may move between agencies.

Right now, the most important thing is not to panic, but to stay informed and speak with an immigration attorney about your specific situation. Every case is different, and immigration laws and policies continue changing quickly.

If you have concerns or questions, our team is here to help guide you through your options.

Happy First Generation Lawyers Day ⚖️✨

Today, we celebrate the attorneys who were the first in their families to step into the legal profession and dared to dream bigger for the generations coming after them.

The officially recognizes May 20 as National First Generation Lawyers Day, and we’re especially proud that , one of the attorneys on our team, helped support the initiative to officially recognize this day through her leadership role with the ABA Young Lawyers Division’s First Generation Initiative in 2023, and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Immigrants Rights Committee for the Civil Rights and Social Justice Division 🤍

We also celebrate our founder, , whose journey as a first-generation attorney and daughter of Salvadoran immigrants continues to inspire us every day. Because of leaders like her, we are able to help families pursue opportunities, protect their futures, and navigate difficult moments with compassion and purpose.

To anyone currently on the path to becoming the first attorney in their family: we know it can feel overwhelming at times. The pressure, the sacrifices, the uncertainty… it’s real. But we promise you, it is worth it. Your story matters, and your presence in these spaces matters too. ✨
