We are representing this seven year old child who had her head covering removed by her teacher. It is unfortunate that the teacher's attorneys are attempting to paint the child as a liar. But we have fully confirmed through multiple sources that the incident happened! We have also confirmed prior complaints regarding the teacher from parents.

A northern New Jersey school district has settled a 2018 lawsuit accusing it of racial segregation.

Happy to announce that we have settled our lawsuit with the School District. It is landmark in its scope and sets a model for handling school litigation in New Jersey and nationwide. Major concessions including full desegregation of schools and remedial programming. This is Cooperative action between the BPW and the District.

The district agreed to a settlement that will see its integration efforts overseen by a retired New Jersey Supreme Court justice.
