The Association was formed for the purpose of maintaining the honor and dignity of the profession of law, developing professional relationship among members, and promoting the administration of justice. To promote and encourage continuing lega

l education, programs and seminars are offered to the membership while scholarships are awarded each year to law students residing in Ocean County. The Ocean County Bar Association also pursues worthwhile charitable activities, including a holiday toy drive. A Lawyer Referral program helps clients identify qualified attorneys to assist in a broad range of legal matters

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office would like to celebrate the accomplishments of women from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office! Today we honor Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Jamie Schron!
SAP Schron served as a law intern with Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office then served as a law clerk with the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. In 2009 SAP Schron became an Assistant Prosecutor here at OCPO. During her distinguished career SAP Schron has served in the Grand Jury Squad, Trial Section, Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force and Major Crime Unit. She is a Certified Trial Attorney and currently supervises the Special Victims Unit. In 2024, SAP Schron received the County Prosecutors Association of New jersey Award for Outstanding Victim Advocacy in a Case for her efforts in the State vs. Christopher Gregor case.
