laddies and gentlewomen,

as you may know, season four of the most exciting hour on facebook, the o-n-b 4mdm, is fast approaching and october 6 will be here before you know it!

while the overhaul between seasons two and three was drastic, season four will continue much of the same vibe as season three did. however, the o-n-board has approved the following changes:

several sponsors are being removed and there are not enough qualified replacements. as such, some rounds, segments and powerplay boxes will be unsponsored to start. this is, of course, subject to change.

relatedly, the wicked wheel has been relegated to the o-n-b museum and will no longer be played. thank you to all who played and participated since its inception.

round six will become a choice round where both o and b will each house four related items. the winning bidder will have choice from amongst them and up to three back bidders will be acknowledged. however, the bonus ball and powerplay key, if applicable, will go to the high bidder. all bids count towards o-n-bingo, blue and black ball standings.

o-n-bingo will be a $25 buy-in and a $100 prize every time.

the second chance round is being eliminated, but the o-n-backcheck round will be repurposed to fit that motif. the backcheck will be a reverse-auction of one item from the previous week's show.

the background screen that showed the blue ball standings, bingo numbers, etc. will be reverted to its original purpose: showing comments live on screen in a way that accounts for lag (i.e.; you will see them in the order that we do).

sharebear balls, the watermelon hunt, the video comment lottery, and the 50/50 are all being retained probationally. barring an increase in participation they will not last past the first month of the season.

we've got two more crossover shows this summer and everything for those will remain as it has all offseason, but these changes will roll out for our preseason show september 22 and then be in full effect once season four kicks off tuesday october 6!

are you an online oddities seller looking for a fun way to steer potential customers your way?
it's nearly time for season four of the most exciting hour on facebook, the o-n-b 4mdm! however, throughout season three we lost a few sponsors and we're looking to fill in those slots. there are multiple ways that you can be a part of the show, all at no cost*!

if you've never been to a 4mdm show... firstly, you don't know what you're missing. but also a lot of the following may not make much sense to you.

the most pressing need is the wicked wheel, a fun game that we've had to shelf towards the end of season three due to a lack of participating sellers. how does it work, you ask? it's actually pretty simple: contestants bid on the chance to play. the winning bidder will spin the first wheel to select one of 13 associated sellers. next they will spin the second wheel in an effort to win up to 40% off one item from that seller. they may continue spinning until reaching 40% or bankrupt. they can choose to stop at 10%, 20%, or 30% too. if they land on bankrupt they have the option to double their initial bid and take just one more spin.
so, what's in it for the sellers? firstly, you get half of the bid that was placed to play sent to your paypal. but more importantly, with a discount in their pocket new customers will seek you out to use it! sure, you have to take a hit on one item but you may gain a regular customer.
there are six spots available and some criteria do apply to be part of the game.

another way to get involved is through sponsorship. this costs nothing. there are openings available on regular rounds throughout the show as well as powerplay boxes. one seller cannot sponsor both a box and a round, but a round is the better spot.
once again, some criteria do apply.

lastly, there is the option to have a commercial during the 4mdm show! this is a collaborative effort. we're happy to make the commercial for you but it will require some input on your part.

thank you to everyone who came out to our series of shows over the past several days! it was a lot of fun sharing the studio with The Picking Professor for the evening!
the shows were a bit of a challenge with restrictions, having to re-do events, and run from another page... but we got through it and o-n-boxes will be packed up tonight!
we'll be back at--and from our own page--on tuesday august 25 for a sandiland-exclusive crossover with Some of This • Some of That and on tuesday september 8 the summer crossover series concludes with another exciting visit from Dark Pollinators!
after that we're going to do a preseason clearance special on tuesday september 22 as we gear up for the 4mdm season four premiere on tuesday october 6!
the sudden death overtime and warehouse wackiness shows are going to be a bit more regular starting in season 4, probably monthly. we'll work that schedule out as it gets closer.
