A homeowner told me their insurance company would not keep insuring them unless they put on a new roof. ๐ก I had a deal recently that went through great, with a good inspection. A week before closing, the buyer's agent called and said the buyer could not get insurance on the roof. My seller had to put on a new roof, and we worked it out in the contract so the buyer paid for half. These days, a roof older than 16 years is considered an old roof. It is one more reason a seller should consider a new one. Do you have a story about an insurance company and your roof? Tell me in the comments. ๐ฌ Keepin' it simple and Keepin' it real.
