If you are stopped by ICE remember these tips to help you make it back to your family safe and sound (exceptions may apply so please research the law(s) or hire anattorney:

1) They cannot come into your home or non-public area of your business without a warrant.

2) They can stop you and question you about your legal status, without a warrant, AS LONG AS you are free to go.

3) You have the right to remain silent.

4) If arrested they have to inform you of a few details (see video and updated laws).

5) Appearance nor accent, alone, are enough probable cause for arrest.

6) Ladies be careful: it has been reported that people have dressed up as ICE agents to abduct women.

To maintain my law license(s), attorneys are required to complete a certain amount of hours of legal training every year, called CLE's . . . and I wouldn't exactly call them entertaining 😅 But tbh, I remember the days when I prayed for the opportunity to even have to watch CLE's. What an answered prayer🙌🏾

I'm not surprised that God kept His word (Luke 1:45), I'm shaking my head because I remember how long I waited. How many prayers were whispered. How many days I had to keep going without seeing anything change.
