Dear Athlos parents and guardians,

In alignment with Jefferson Parish Schools and after closely monitoring the ongoing weather conditions, Athlos Jefferson Parish will be closed on Thursday, June 18, 2026, due to the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Arthur.

We will remain in close communication with local officials throughout this weather event. As soon as conditions allow, we will begin assessing our campus to ensure it is safe and ready to welcome everyone back.

There will be no school for students this Friday, May 22nd. In order to allow time for staff to finalize records, the last day for students will be Thursday, May 21st.

Today we proudly celebrate our amazing Kindergarten Class! ✨🎓

What a joy it has been to watch our little learners grow, learn, and shine throughout the school year. From learning letters and numbers to building friendships and confidence, they have accomplished so much!

We are so proud of each and every student and cannot wait to see all the wonderful things they will achieve in the future. 🌟

To our Young Rembrandts Partners..

Thank you for a great school year. Your partnership is crucial in helping us reach more students and help them bring out their best while having fun and improving self-confidence. Please see attached Certificate of Appreciation as a token of our appreciation

Your students had a great time as Young Rembrandts artists this school year and we enjoyed working them.
Young Rembrandts is offering some exciting workshops over the summer -like Dragons, K-Pop Anime, Ocean Life Pastels and much more. We would love to see your students again this summer.
Young Rembrandts Drawing Workshops are a great way for our young artists to continue to develop their drawing skills and help prevent summer brain drain. We know that you have many creative kids who may need an outlet over the summer.
We have attached our summer workshop flyer and we would greatly appreciate it if you would share this flyer with your families through email, social media or however you communicate with your families.

We understand that Athlos Academy of Jefferson Parish is closing after this school year. We have enjoyed having Athlos as a partner over the last several years. Please also note the updated uniform changes by grade level:

🔴 PreK & Kindergarten
Learners will wear khaki bottoms (skirts, shorts, jumpers, or pants) with the red YACS polo.

🔵 1st–5th Grade
Learners will wear khaki bottoms (skirts, shorts, jumpers, or pants) with the royal blue YACS polo.

🟡 6th Grade
Learners will wear khaki or plaid bottoms with the yellow polo.
