Seiter Law, PLLC - Arizona Estate Planning Services Estate Planning Services in Arizona - Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney & More The process of estate planning can be a rewarding experience.

Estate planning is about protecting what matters most to you in the event you pass on or become incapacitated. For many, this means providing appropriately for their family, their autonomy, and the financial foundation they worked so hard to achieve. At Seiter Law, that experience starts before our first meeting. I will provide you with a carefully crafted questionnaire to help you formulate your

planning goals and gather all of the important information we need. That questionnaire, along with your feedback, will guide our first discussion. Best of all that discussion is FREE! From there, my job is to give you the attention and guidance you need as we craft a comprehensive plan that is personal to you and your situation. While it is not easy to think about some of these “what if” scenarios, having a strong estate plan can provide peace of mind to you and those you love. To arrange a free consultation, please contact Seiter Law directly, or call me at 480-345-3300. Located in Tempe, with close proximity to Ahwatukee, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix, and Scottsdale.

They’re part of the family. Shouldn’t they be part of the plan?

This National Dog Day, take a moment to consider who would care for your dog if you were no longer able to—and whether that person would have the information and resources needed to do it.

A thoughtful estate plan can name a trusted caregiver, provide instructions about your pet’s routines and medical needs and establish a plan for the cost of their future care.

Because loving them means planning for them, too. 🐾

Seiter Law can help you create a plan that protects everyone you love—including the four-legged members of your family.

Most people don’t create or update a will because it suddenly sounds like a fun way to spend an afternoon. Usually, life changes—and the people and responsibilities that matter most become clearer.

Welcoming a child, buying a home, getting married or facing a serious illness can all change who depends on you, what you own and how you want the people you love to be protected.

A will can name guardians for minor children, identify who should manage your estate and provide clear direction about your property and personal belongings. It is also an important part of a broader estate plan that prepares for decisions during your lifetime—not only after death.

If your life has changed but your estate plan hasn’t, Make-A-Will Month is a wonderful time to catch up.

Seiter Law is here to make the process feel clear, thoughtful and manageable.

Today, we’re celebrating the sons and daughters who make life fuller, louder, funnier—and far more meaningful. 💙

Whether your children are still building blanket forts, heading off to college or beginning families of their own, the years have a way of moving faster than we expect. The everyday moments become some of the memories we treasure most.

National Son & Daughter Day is a sweet reminder to pause, enjoy your favorite people and consider one of the most loving things a parent can do: make a plan for their future. Nominating guardians for minor children and having a thoughtful estate plan in place can help ensure the people you love are cared for, no matter what life brings.

Wishing you a day filled with family, laughter and memories worth keeping. If estate-planning questions come up, Seiter Law is here to help.

An estate plan can look polished, use all the right legal language and still be completely wrong.

AI tools are remarkably good at producing confident, sophisticated-sounding answers. But estate planning is not a fill-in-the-blank exercise. Your plan must reflect current law, your assets, your family circumstances and your individual goals.

AI can be helpful for learning basic terminology and organizing questions for a professional, but it should not replace personalized legal advice.

Some of the risks of using AI for estate planning include:

• Incorrect or outdated legal information: AI may rely on outdated sources or laws that do not apply in your state.

• Missing critical personal details: A generic tool may overlook how your assets are owned, beneficiary designations, family circumstances or tax considerations.

• A false sense of security: A document may look complete while containing errors, omitting important provisions or failing to meet legal requirements.

The true measure of an estate plan isn’t how sophisticated it sounds—it’s whether it works when your family needs it most. Seiter Law can review your plan to help ensure it provides the protection you intend for your family.

Ferris Bueller was right ... life moves pretty fast. So when life changes, your estate plan should change with it.

Major events such as marriage, divorce, the arrival of a child or grandchild, retirement, moving, purchasing a new home or changes in important relationships can all affect whether your existing plan still reflects your wishes.

Even if nothing significant has changed, reviewing your estate-planning documents every few years is a smart habit.

A periodic review gives you an opportunity to confirm your beneficiaries, trustees, powers of attorney and healthcare representatives before those documents are ever needed.

If it has been several years since you looked at your estate plan, this is your reminder to take it off the shelf and make sure it still works for the life you’re living today.

Seiter Law is here to help you plan with clarity and confidence. Call (480) 345-3300 to schedule a free consultation.

August is National Make-A-Will Month—the perfect time to ask yourself an important question: ✨If something happened to me tomorrow, would my family know exactly what to do?✨

Estate planning isn’t only for retirees or people with substantial assets. Every adult can benefit from having a plan that clearly communicates their wishes, identifies the people they trust and helps protect those they love.

A thoughtful estate plan can reduce uncertainty, prevent unnecessary legal complications and give your family valuable peace of mind during an already difficult time.

As one Seiter Law client shared, “Not having a will adds stress and heartbreak if something does happen. A will isn’t for you—it’s for your loved ones left behind.”

Turning 18 is an exciting milestone—but it also changes the law.

Once your child becomes a legal adult, parents generally lose the automatic authority to access medical information or make financial and healthcare decisions on their behalf ... even during an emergency.

Before your student leaves for college or begins their next adventure, consider putting these four essential documents in place:

☑️ Healthcare Power of Attorney
☑️ Financial Power of Attorney
☑️ HIPAA Authorization
☑️ Living Will

These documents allow trusted people to step in when needed and can provide tremendous peace of mind for the entire family.

Arizona makes many advance-directive forms available free of charge. However, an estate-planning attorney can help ensure the documents comply with Arizona law, work together properly and address your family’s individual circumstances. Questions?
