Our offices will be operating on a 2 hour delay today due to freezing temps and hazardous driving conditions.

Alexander County Courts are also on a 2 hour delay. If you are my client and were instructed to be there, you need to be there no later than 11:30.

All other courts I’m involved in are operating on a 1 hr delay.

We now have our internet and phones restored. We are working diligently to return all missed phone calls and emails, while also maintaining any previously scheduled appointments.

If you had court this week in Catawba, Burke, or Caldwell county, your case will be continued due to court closures. We will send a letter with the new court date, as we receive them.

Courts in Alexander and Iredell County are on regular schedule. Plan to be present, unless we have instructed you otherwise.

We currently do not have internet or phone service due to the storm. Unfortunately this severely limits our abilities to check and respond to calls, texts, emails and other communication. It also limits our ability to access digitally stored information about your case.

As of right now, you should plan to go to court this week if you have received a court date letter from me, and we have not spoken otherwise.

Our law firm in Taylorsville, NC has been established for three years and continues to experience a trend of strong growth. We are very busy, and we are looking to add an attorney to our team to increase our ability to service the people of Taylorsville and the surrounding counties.

Our firm primarily focuses on family law and criminal defense litigation. However, as our office is in a smaller town, we practice in a variety of other fields (such as civil litigation and estate planning) to best help the community. We are looking to expand more heavily into real estate law. The ideal candidate would have an interest in these areas, and mentorship will happily be provided. We are in a geographic area of an aging Bar association and there is plenty of opportunity for growth, both now and in the future.

Compensation will be based on a minimum salary, plus the potential to earn a higher income based on overall production. A path to partnership would certainly be an option for the right candidate. We are open to hiring a new graduate from law school.
