The Women's Law Group will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday August 29 and 30 due to Hurricane Idalia. We expect to return to the office on the 31st. The Tampa courts are closed both days and all hearings will be rescheduled.

The law in Florida regarding custody, referred to as "timesharing" of children, will change effective July 1, 2023. The new law will create a rebuttable presumption that equal timesharing (50/50 custody) between the parents is in the child's best interests.
