The new year is very busy so far. In addition to work being busy (I’m not complaining), I worked on finalizing something else that’s super exciting.

The *exciting* news is 🥁… a new (used) office! The lease officially begins on 2/1/23, but it’s exciting to have an office again.

After trial, I’ll be updating my contact info everywhere with the new address. A bit arduous, but WORTH IT! Great location, first floor office, and the price made me feel like Goldilocks: just right!

A very delayed announcement, but please welcome Katherine “Kadi” Mayo to the firm as our new Legal Assistant! She is one of the most organized people I’ve ever worked with. Ms. Mayo joined the firm in June and although she is still in training, she is already making a huge difference by bringing fresh ideas and IT skills to the firm.

Now we need to get her headshots to put on our website that she completely re-worked (it isn’t live yet, but I definitely got lucky hiring Ms. Mayo).

It is a great honor to share with our followers that Ms. George was appointed to the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association (TBTLA) Board of Directors this week.

The State of Florida is overdue for mandatory bodily injury automobile insurance. I hate when I meet new clients and have to tell them the driver who caused their injuries had no insurance. In this scenario, if the clients don't have UM (uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage of their own), there is virtually no way to recover against the uninsured driver, so the victim gets stuck with any bills that their PIP doesn't cover.
