🏡 THINKING OF SELLING YOUR HOME? 🏡
This year’s been a tough one for sellers. There just aren’t as many buyers out there right now, and homes that do hit the market are getting fewer showings — and sometimes no offers at all.
Some folks are still thinking it’s like the COVID days when homes were flying off the shelf and selling way over asking because there was nothing available. Hate to say it, but that’s not how the market works anymore. Take a look at your community! How many homes are for sale? How many have sold and for how much? Some resort vacation communities in the Davenport area have over 100 properties for sale! How many are similar to yours and how long have they been up on the market for?
And here’s another thing — some agents are still taking listings at crazy prices just to have a sign in the yard, knowing it’ll never sell. That’s a waste of everyone’s time. Same goes for short 3–4 month listing agreements… unless your home is priced right and in great shape, that timeline is going to be tough.
Here’s my honest advice if you’re thinking about selling 👇
