Our Story

Martinez Law’s managing attorney and principal, Joseph Martinez was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He is the proud son of a Cuban immigrant father and second generation Sicilian American mother. Parents that taught the value of all people, to always stand up for yourself and family, to out work your competition and help the people in your community, to have pride in all you do and represent. Joseph Martinez was the first in his family to attend college, he went on to receive a Bachelors of Science with Honors from the University of Florida in 1996 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 2000. For over nineteen years Joseph Martinez has been licensed to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States Middle District of Florida. With over a hundred cases tried, Joseph Martinez brings exceptional experience and unparalleled determination to every client he represents in Injury Law (car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents), traumatic brain injury, medical malpractice, products liability, wrongful death. Joseph Martinez is also accomplished in Estate Planning and Asset Protection (trusts, wills, advanced directives, corporations, deeds).
