Kicking off something special!

Last week, we celebrated the launch of the HCBA’s inaugural Mentorship Program, bringing together 27 Mentor–Fellow pairs for a year of connection, growth, and leadership development.

Throughout the bar year, participants will engage in interactive modules, community volunteer projects, and career and leadership planning - all designed to foster meaningful relationships and support the next generation of legal leaders.

We’re excited to see what this incredible first year brings!

The Hillsborough County Bar Association and HCBA Young Lawyers Division are excited to launch the YLD 2026-27 Mentor-Fellow Program—a structured, eight-month experience connecting experienced practitioners with motivated young lawyers.

Running from October 2026 through May 2027, the program will offer opportunities for candid conversation, meaningful professional development, and lasting connections that extend well beyond the program.

Applications are open to both mentors and fellows through September 25, 2026.
