Since my diagnosis of Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer, I have stopped practicing law (pretty much) to concentrate all my energy on treatment. There are still the little things here and there I have to do, but I have been blessed with friends who have agreed to take care of my clients who are more like my babies. The office number is still the same it has been for 20 years, 813-915-1715. Phone is still answered. There is a wonderful attorney who's assistant takes care of the people who used to call me. That wonderful attorney is Frank Symphorien-Saavedra. Some may remember Frank's time working in my office when he was an undergrad. I am so proud of the lawyer he went on to become, surpassing all I had ever hoped for him. He calls me Mom and with that love and confidence, I handed him the keys to the Law office of Mayra Calo. Thank you to all who placed their trust in me over the years that enabled me to have one of the best careers I could have imagined.
