I had the pleasure of presenting at the Florida Internal Affairs Investigators Association (FIAIA) 2018 Annual Conference held last week. The conference is held each year to better educate hundreds of internal affairs investigators from around the state. I was able to combine my 26 years of Law Enforcement, 8 years Assistant State Attorney, 12 years Police Benevolent Association Attorney and Executive Director and 10 years here at the Krohn Law Firm to present on “How to conduct your investigation and avoid appeals/grievances.” It was a good conference and the members left great reviews.
