Megan represents clients in business litigation, franchise, and non-compete and trade secret matters. Before joining the firm, she practiced at one of Florida's largest firms, where she defended franchisees operating restaurants and hotels in contested civil matters. It is unlawful for an employer to punish you for asserting your rights at work.

Retaliation happens when an employer takes adverse action, such as demotion, discipline, or termination, because an employee reported discrimination, filed a complaint, requested leave, or raised a concern about unlawful conduct. The protected activity does not have to be formal, and the law covers employees even when the underlying complaint is still being investigated.

Derek is a commercial litigator who represents a diverse clientele in complex business litigation and franchise law. His work spans contract disputes, construction defect and delay claims, lien and bond matters, real estate disputes, and the drafting of operating, employment, and franchise agreements. His clients range from nationwide homebuilders and general contractors to developers, associations, and equipment lessors.

A summa cm laude graduate of Stetson University College of Law, Derek finished third in his class and served as Articles and Symposia Editor of the Stetson Law Review.
