On March 23, 2022, the court in Jones Lang LaSalle Brokerage, Inc. v. 1441 L Associates, LLC, D. D. C. No. 20-3687 (FYP) (applying the real estate brokerage laws of Washington D.C.) precluded a broker from collecting a $756,188.26 commission for the broker’s “technical non-compliance with the “strict disclosure-and-consent provisions related to dual representation.”

A user-friendly compliance workflow can be a great tool to help prevent costly mistakes.
