From Haiti to the world…

One thing life teaches eventually is that momentum can create illusions.

People start thinking:
“This always works.”
“I’ll always get away with it.”
“Nothing’s happened yet.”

Until one day… something changes.

And honestly, I think that applies to more than just taxes.

Habits.
Relationships.
Business decisions.
Health.
Finances.

A lot of situations feel sustainable right up until they aren’t.

That’s why I respect awareness so much now.

Not paranoia.
Not fear.

Just understanding that actions eventually compound into outcomes.

So now I’m curious

What’s a lesson life taught you the hard way over time?

From Haiti to the world…

One thing adulthood teaches you quickly is that responsibility can’t fully be outsourced.

Not financially.
Not professionally.
Not personally.

Advice is important.
Experts are important.
Guidance is important.

But understanding what’s happening with your own life still matters too.

Especially with money and taxes.

Because a lot of people blindly trust things they never fully asked questions about.

And sometimes the issue isn’t bad intentions…

it’s assumptions, miscommunication, or lack of expertise in a specific area.

That’s why I respect people who encourage education instead of dependency.

People who want you informed, not just compliant.

So now I’m curious

What’s something life taught you to pay closer attention to for yourself?

👇🏾

From Haiti to the world…

One thing I’ve learned over time is that clarity actually protects relationships.

A lot of people think avoiding uncomfortable conversations keeps things peaceful.

Sometimes it does the opposite.

Whether it’s friendship, business, money, or partnerships…

unspoken expectations tend to become future frustrations.

That’s why communication matters so much.

Transparency.
Accountability.
Following through.
Respecting people’s time and effort.

Those things help relationships last.

And honestly, one of my favorite parts of entrepreneurship has been watching people around me grow with me over the years.

Clients becoming friends.
Friends becoming collaborators.
Coworkers becoming family.

That kind of trust means something.

So now I’m curious

What’s one quality that makes somebody easy for you to build with long term?

👇🏾

From Haiti to the world…

One thing I’ve noticed is that growth usually asks for inconvenience first.

Not motivation.
Not inspiration.

Inconvenience.

The willingness to:
Wake up earlier.
Drive farther.
Stay disciplined longer.
Keep showing up when comfort says otherwise.

And honestly, a lot of opportunities look ordinary in the beginning.

A meeting.
A conversation.
An introduction.
A room you almost skipped.

Until later… when you realize how much changed because you decided to show up.

That’s why I respect consistency more than hype these days.

So now I’m curious

What’s something meaningful in your life right now that’s worth sacrificing comfort for?

From Haiti to the world…

One of my favorite things about culture is how much wisdom gets passed down casually.

Not through textbooks.
Not through lectures.

Through conversations.
Meals.
Music.
Family gatherings.
Little sayings people repeat without even realizing how deep they are.

And the older I get, the more I realize those small things shape identity more than we think.

Tonight was a beautiful reminder of that.

Different cultures.
Different foods.
Different backgrounds.

Yet everybody still gathering around the same table in some way.

That’s powerful.

So now I wanna hear from y’all

What’s a saying from your culture or family
that stuck with you growing up?

Drop it below 👇🏾

Put me on.

From Haiti to the world…

The older I get, the more I realize proximity shapes people.

Not just who you spend the most time with…

but who you listen to.
Who you learn from.
Who you trust enough to take advice from.

That influence adds up quietly over time.

Sometimes your circle pushes you higher.

Sometimes it normalizes things you should’ve never gotten comfortable with.

That’s why I think discernment matters so much now.

Especially when choosing:
Friends
Mentors
Business partners
Professionals

A lot of people don’t realize how much peace comes from having solid people around you.

So let me ask y’all this…

Who’s somebody in your life you trust deeply and why?

Tag them or send this to them 👇🏾

Good people deserve recognition too.

From Haiti to the world…

One thing I’ve been thinking about lately is how different life feels when people are building with you instead of simply working around you.

There’s a difference between community and convenience.

Real collaboration changes things.

Not just financially.
Mentally.
Emotionally.
Spiritually too.

Some people multiply your energy.
Some multiply your vision.
Some multiply your courage.

And honestly, a lot of growth becomes less intimidating when you’re not carrying it alone.

That’s part of why I respect ownership and collective effort so much.

Building together hits different.

So now I’m curious…

Who’s somebody you’d genuinely love to build something meaningful with one day?

Tag them or share this video with them 👇🏾

Maybe it’s time to stop just clocking in
and start locking in.

05/17/2026

From Haiti to the world…

One thing parenthood changed for me is how differently I think about legacy.

Not just what I accomplish personally…

but what gets passed down.

Mindset.
Discipline.
Standards.
Confidence.

A lot of people think inheritance is only money.

Sometimes the greatest thing you can give somebody is belief in themselves.

A reminder that they come from strength. That they are capable of more. That they can go even further than you did.

That’s real wealth too.

And watching your children start becoming their own person?

That feeling is hard to describe.

So now I’m curious

What’s one trait, lesson, or value you hope gets passed down to the next generation?
