DUI Checkpoint Alert: The Tallahassee Police Department will be conducting a DUI checkpoint this Thursday (August 16) on the 1800 block of East Park Avenue. The checkpoint will take place between 8:30pm and midnight. This is the stretch of Park Avenue between Magnolia and Blairstone.

D.U.I. Checkpoint Alert: The Tallahassee Police Department will be conducting a D.U.I. checkpoint on Thursday night, March 22, 2018. The checkpoint will be conducted on the 300 block of Stadium Drive between 11:30pm and 3:00am.

Remember, a driver is under no obligation to do field sobriety exercises.

Checkpoint Alert: Now that the students are back in town, and with full knowledge that the Tallahassee weekend traditionally starts on Thursday, local law enforcement has decided to set up a D.U.I. checkpoint this evening. From 11:30pm until 3:00am local officers will be stopping all traffic on the 1800 block of West Tharpe Street to check your papers, casually violate average citizens' civil rights, and hopefully arrest some people for offenses real and imagined.

The first will be from 10:00pm - 11:00pm on Convocation Way. After that the checkpoint will relocate to West Jefferson Street between 11:30pm - 12:30pm. Govern yourselves accordingly.

DUI Checkpoint Alert: The Tallahassee Police Department will be conducting a D.U.I. Checkpoint tonight between the hours of 11:00p.m. and 3:00a.m. on the 300 block of Stadium Drive. Basically on the corner of Call and Stadium (at least according to Google Maps). Be aware and govern yourselves accordingly.

Floridians have voted to make medicinal ma*****na legal. The government of the State of Florida is still trying to figure out how to accomplish this while delaying it for as long as possible.
This does not mean that citizens can possess or smoke ma*****na without facing criminal penalties.
Over the last decade the consumption of hash, hash oil, ma*****na concentrate, oils and waxes has grown tremendously across Florida and the rest of the United States. What has not changed is how the criminal laws of the State of Florida impact those caught in possession of hash, ma*****na oil or other ma*****na concentrates. Possession of any of these derivatives of ma*****na is considered a third degree felony. Even if you possess under twenty grams, it will still be a felony.
If you are charged with possession of a "ma*****na concentrate," you will need an attorney, as you will be charged with a felony.

DUI Checkpoint Alert: Tonight on Stadium Drive. Between 11:30 pm and 2:30am local law enforcement agencies will set up a DUI checkpoint in the 300 block of Stadium Drive. So be careful.

DUI Checkpoint Alert: On Saturday, August 15th, the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office will be conducting a D.U.I. checkpoint with accompanying "saturation patrols." The main checkpoint will be right in Crawfordville near the Winn Dixie between 10:00pm and midnight. So if you are heading back and forth to the beach next weekend try and get there early to avoid delays.
