I almost fell for a scam… from the “Police Department.” 🚨

Spoofed phone numbers are getting scary good. The person sounded professional, believable, and honestly… real. No obvious red flags, no strange accent, nothing that immediately felt “off.”

After talking to clients and friends, I realized this could happen to anyone at any time.

Please be careful. Don’t panic if you get a call that feels urgent, and always verify information by hanging up and calling a trusted number directly.

Stay aware out there, these scams are getting smarter.
